Abstract
The Handbook 2026: Sustainability, Resilience, Equity, Education and Territorial Systems is framed within both basic and applied academic research conducted at the Autonomous University of Guerrero (UAGro), particularly within the Research and Social Impact Line (LIeIS) Tourism, Environment, and Society. This research line was established on January 2, 2010, within the School of Tourism and was consolidated in 2013 as part of the Master of Science in Sustainable Tourism Management. Its founding leadership is attributed to Dr. Niño-Gutiérrez, who, in collaboration with high-level national and international scholars, has promoted a research agenda focused on understanding and transforming contemporary socio-environmental issues. In the current context—characterized by the intensification of climate crises, persistent structural inequalities, the reconfiguration of educational systems, and increasing pressures on territories—the work Sustainability, Resilience, Equity, Education and Territorial Systems stands out as a highly relevant academic contribution. From an interdisciplinary perspective, the volume articulates education, sustainability, and resilience as strategic axes for social transformation, proposing comprehensive approaches that bridge local and global dimensions.
