Abstract
<jats:p>This article analyzes the progress of scientific work over the 80-year history of I. Arabaev Kyrgyz State University. Since its founding, the university has strived to unite science and education and elevate the status of Kyrgyz women in science and education. In its early years, it began with the establishment of scientific circles and organizations to guide future generations toward scientific research, with an emphasis on its comprehensive development. In the 1990s, the institute received university status, established research laboratories, and focused on conducting fundamental and applied research and awarding academic degrees. In the 2000s, research activities were systematically organized, and faculty were given the opportunity to participate in international studies. The university's scientific journal is published quarterly, registered with the Russian Scientific Center, and currently has an impact factor of 0.136, creating ample space for publishing research. At the same time, faculty members publish in highly indexed international journals. The scientific library has been in operation since the university's founding and is currently being built and equipped with modern technology.</jats:p>
