Abstract

<jats:p>The monograph depicts the results of a comprehensive study of the industry-specific vocabulary recorded in translation dictionaries of the years 1917–1933, which include: “Moscow-Ukrainian Dictionary” (1918) by V. Dubrovskyi, “Russian-Ukrainian Dictionary” (1918) by S. Ivanytskyi and F. Shumlyanskyi, and “Russian-Ukrainian Dictionary” (1924–1933) edited by A. Krymskyi and S. Efremov. The work analyzes peculiarities of vocabulary’s creation, spelling, application as well as compares its common and distinctive features in various dictionaries. Additionally, the study includes vocabulary’s comparison with modern lexicographical works. Intended for scientists, teachers, students, and anyone interested in lexicography, lexicology, terminology, and the history of the Ukrainian language.</jats:p>
