Abstract
<ns5:p>This document sets out the BRACE Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy 2025–2028 and explains how the Birmingham, RAND and Cambridge Evaluation (BRACE) Centre will embed equality, diversity, inclusion and equity throughout its research, governance and organisational culture. The strategy outlines BRACE’s vision, values and principles, describes its governance structures and alignment with NIHR research inclusion priorities, and sets out three strategic objectives: demonstrating a strong commitment to EDI through continuous learning and evaluation; creating an inclusive and supportive environment for staff, researchers, patients and public contributors; and addressing health and care inequalities through the design, delivery and dissemination of rapid evaluations. The strategy emphasises inclusive research practices, meaningful involvement of diverse and underserved communities, professional development, organisational learning, and the production of evidence that supports fairer and more equitable health and social care services.</ns5:p>
