Abstract
<jats:p>The collection includes the abstracts of reports by the participants of the International Forum ‘Professional Military Education. Theory, Practice, and Perspectives’ held on April 29, 2026, at the National Defence University of Ukraine. The materials contain theoretical and practical results of scientific research dedicated to security and defence development under the conditions of fullscale invasion. The primary focus of the collection is centered on four key areas: – Transformation of Professional Military Education: addresses the processes of adapting curricula to NATO standards, integrating unique Ukrainian lessons learned into the training process in real time, and developing the institutional capacity of military educational institutions. – Military Leadership: explores models for forming adaptive leadership, ethical dimensions of commander activities, the development of critical and creative thinking, as well as psychological aspects of personnel readiness for combat missions. – Lessons Learned: highlights mechanisms for collecting, analyzing, and implementing combat experience into the military command and education system to increase the effectiveness of troop training. – Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies: analyzes the prospects of using AI, analytical systems, and simulation technologies (VR/AR) in military education, as well as the ethical, legal, and organizational aspects of their application.</jats:p>
