ІМПЕРАТИВИ СТРУКТУРНО-ФУНКЦІОНАЛЬНОЇ ПЕРЕБУДОВИ БІЗНЕС-МОДЕЛЕЙ ВІТЧИЗНЯНОГО МАЛОГО І СЕРЕДНЬОГО БІЗНЕСУ В УМОВАХ СИСТЕМНИХ РИЗИКІВ, IMPERATIVES OF STRUCTURAL AND FUNCTIONAL RESTRUCTURING OF BUSINESS MODELS OF DOMESTIC SMALL AND MEDIUM BUSINESSES IN THE CONDITIONS OF SYSTEMIC RISKS

<jats:p>The article explores the theoretical, methodological, and applied foundations of business model transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ukraine in the context of a prolonged full-scale war. It is substantiated that the extreme market environment and systemic wartime shocks (destruction of logistics chains, infrastructure crises, human capital shortages) render traditional pre-war business models absolutely unsustainable. It is proven that ensuring the viability of small and medium-sized enterprises at the current stage is governed by the action of certain fundamental imperatives, which act as unconditional requirements of the business environment and determine a rigid framework for the structural and functional reconfiguration of modern business models. These imperatives enable the transition to flexible, digitalized, and autonomous business models that are able to quickly adapt to dynamic threatening factors. It is substantiated that the proposed imperatives have a cumulative effect; in particular, structural mobility allows businesses to avoid the physical impacts of the crisis, technological autonomy guarantees the continuity of internal operations, and digitalization solves the problem of a critical shortage of human resources. Only those small and medium-sized businesses that have managed to integrate all three imperatives into the architecture of their business models demonstrate high indicators of financial resilience and the ability to generate profit. For descriptive modeling of these processes, an adapted Osterwalder Business Model Canvas was used, which allows for a clear distinction between the pre-war development paradigm and the architecture of systemic adaptability of small and medium-sized businesses through the prism of financial and operational effects. A matrix model was formed, and the operational and financial effects of the transformation of business models from anti-crisis to adaptability models were determined. The transition of small and medium-sized enterprises to a business model of systemic adaptability under wartime risks ensures specific effects for each element of the business model, where changes in the operational parameters of the business model are directly converted into indicators of the enterprise's financial resilience.</jats:p>
