DETERMINATION OF INNOVATIVE PROJECTS PRIORITY SET TO THE ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT PORTFOLIO

<jats:p>The relevance of the article is explained by the fact that innovation initiatives are characterized by increased uncertainty and complexity of forecasting financial results, which makes it impossible to rely only on direct economic indicators. The main purpose of the article is to present a method for determining a priority set of innovative projects for inclusion in the portfolio of an enterprise, taking into account the available funding. The approach is based on a pre-formed selection model, the practical implementation of which requires a systematic expert assessment of the factors of intrinsic value of projects and subsequent assessment of the candidates themselves (innovative initiatives) according to unified criteria. The competitiveness of the enterprise, its ability to develop in the conditions of constant changes depends on the effectiveness of this process. The article evaluates 12 innovative projects that are candidates for the enterprise development portfolio. Projects are evaluated according to 8 selected criteria, after which the average score is calculated, provided that all indicators are equally weighted. The results are summarized in a table for each category, after which they are processed to determine the integral significance of the factors. The obtained average ratings allow to compare projects with each other. The article offers a structured and practically verified methodology for selecting innovative projects, which combines expert ranking of factors and integral assessment of value according to a number of key criteria, grouped into four strategic planes. According to the methodology, all projects whose integral score is less than the threshold value are subject to exclusion from further consideration. Thus, the portfolio includes such projects that meet the system requirements for a balanced structure of the innovation portfolio under conditions of limited resources. The proposed approach allows for transparent, objective and strategically balanced selection of projects, which ensures the maximization of the intrinsic value of the enterprise's innovation portfolio.</jats:p>
