THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DIGITALIZATION ON THE OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY OF IT COMPANY IN CONDITIONS OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF ECONOMY

<jats:p>The rapid development of digital technologies and extensive integration thereof into economic activities cause the significant changes in traditional approaches to organization of business processes and financial management systems of IT companies. Forming the digital economy fundamentally reshapes the business models, management mechanisms and business processes of companies stimulating the comprehensive digital transformations across all the functional areas of business activity in particular in operational activities. The purpose of this study is researching the impact of financial management digitalization on the operational efficiency of IT company. The complex of general and specialized scientific methods was applied during the research, in particular: the systems analysis method was applied to synthesize theoretical approaches to the financial management of IT companies and their operational efficiency; the comparative method and the method of scientific generalization were used to investigate the modern tools of digital transformation of financial system of IT companies and its influence on operational efficiency; the method of logical generalization was implemented for formulating conclusions and practical recommendations as to forming an effective financial management system in IT company securing the operational efficiency of its activity. The key drivers of changes in the digital era are reviewed in the study and they are divided into four groups: systemic, sociodemographic, market and technological factors. The list of basic components for forming and implementing the digital financial management system in IT company is defined. The study researches the main challenges and risks associated with the digitalization of company financial management, categorizing them into informational, financial and organizational, human resources, cultural, technical, ethical and legal risks, as well as the risk of technological dependence. The essence of the operational efficiency of IT company is determined and the main criteria thereof are identified. The main directions for optimization of costs for securing the operational efficiency of IT company is substantiated. The scheme of impact of financial management digitalization on the operational efficiency of IT company is built and the main mechanisms and instruments of influence are identified.</jats:p>
