Abstract
DOCENTIA Lectures, Volume 1, brings together reflections on university teaching in the age of artificial intelligence. The publication addresses the role of AI in higher education, its potential to reduce learning gaps, risks related to academic integrity, the emergence of educational agents and multi-agent systems, and the human competencies universities should prioritize in the context of cognitive automation. Framed within the work of DOCENTIA, the Center for Teaching Innovation and Development at Universidad Autónoma de Chile, the document offers pedagogical, ethical, and institutional criteria for the responsible integration of emerging technologies into higher education.
