The licensing integrated examination “KROK 1” is a key stage in assessing the professional training of medical education applicants in Ukraine and establishing its compliance with the standards of higher education, including for students of dental faculties. Physiology is considered one of the key fundamental disciplines of the first years of study, the level of mastery of which directly affects the overall result of integrated testing. Purpose. To assess the satisfaction of dental students with the quality of preparation for the integrated licensing examination “KROK 1” at the Department of Physiology. Materials and Methods. An anonymous questionnaire-based survey was conducted to evaluate students’ satisfaction with preparation for the “KROK 1” examination in the discipline of Physiology. The questionnaire included items assessing satisfaction with the content and relevance of educational materials, teaching methods, interaction with instructors, forms of knowledge assessment, and student engagement in the educational process. The obtained data were statistically analyzed. Results. A total of 117 third-year dental students enrolled in the elective course “Integrative Course of Physiology” participated in the survey. The findings demonstrated an overall positive evaluation of the organization of the educational process at the Department of Physiology, as well as high levels of satisfaction with the quality and content of educational materials, methodological support, and forms of knowledge control. At the same time, several aspects requiring further improvement were identified, particularly optimization of classroom and independent learning activities with regard to effective time management.
