Abstract
The relevance of the study is determined by the growing demand for highly qualified specialists capable of combining physical, methodological, and creative competencies within their professional activities. The purpose of the research is to develop and theoretically substantiate a methodology aimed at enhancing motor-rhythmic competence by integrating the educational potential of gymnastics and ballroom dance into the professional training process. The research is based on competence-based, systemic, activity-oriented, and integrative approaches. Theoretical research methods were employed, including analysis, synthesis, comparison, systematization, generalization of scientific literature, structural-functional analysis, and pedagogical modeling. The proposed methodology is founded on the complementary educational potential of gymnastics and ballroom dance. Gymnastics contributes to the development of coordination, balance, spatial orientation, movement precision, and motor control, whereas ballroom dance enhances musicality, rhythmic perception, expressiveness, plasticity, interpersonal interaction, and creative interpretation of movement. Their integrated application creates favorable conditions for the comprehensive development of future professionals' motor-rhythmic competence. The structure of motor-rhythmic competence includes four interrelated components: motivational-value, cognitive, operational-activity, and reflective-creative. The methodology is implemented through three successive stages: motivational-adaptive, formative, and creative-professional. Its content encompasses gymnastics exercises, ballroom dance techniques, integrated movement combinations, music-based activities, and professionally oriented practical tasks. Various instructional forms and teaching methods are proposed to ensure the effective implementation of the methodology. Criteria, indicators, and three levels (high, medium, and low) of motor-rhythmic competence formation are identified, providing a comprehensive framework for evaluating learning outcomes and assessing the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the theoretical development of an integrative methodology that combines gymnastics and ballroom dance as complementary educational tools for developing motor-rhythmic competence.
