<jats:p>Differences in the level of development of swimming motor skills in male and female prize-winning swimmers at the XXII World Aquatics Championships: Singapore-2025. The purpose of the study is to determine the differences in the parameters of swimming skills formation in prize-winners of different ages and genders based on monitoring the results of the XXII World Aquatics Championships, which took place from July 11 to August 3, 2025 in Singapore. Material. The final achievements of all prize-winning swimmers among 114 men and 116 women at all 45 distances of sports and marathon swimming according to the program of these most prestigious competitions of our time were analyzed. Results. The overall result of the ranking of swimmers' performances at the XXII World Championships-2025 was the indicators of the awards received both in terms of quantity and quality: among the swimmers-winners, 23 countries received medals. The most successful was the performance of athletes from the USA - 29 medals in sports swimming, Australia - 20 + 4 marathon, China - 14, Italy - 7 + 6, France - 7 + 2, Germany - 5 + 4, Canada - 8, Russia - 8, Japan - 4 + 2, Hungary - 2 + 3, South Africa - 3, Netherlands - 3, Romania - 2, Tunisia - 2, Switzerland - 2, Great Britain - 2, Belgium - 2, Lithuania - 1, Poland - 1, South Korea - 1, Kyrgyzstan - 1 Belarus - 1, Monaco - 1 medal in marathon swimming. Among male swimmers, the most successful were athletes from France-8+2, USA-9 medals, Australia-6+1, Italy-5+2 marathon, Germany-4+3 medals. Among female swimmers, athletes from USA-20 medals, Australia-14+3, China-9, Canada-6, Italy-6 medals. For the first time, the dynamics of the difference in the level of development of swimming skills in terms of the ability to overcome swimming distances in different ways, depending on the gender difference of participants of almost similar age (men, x±m=24.24±1.88; women, x±m = 24.44±2.04; t= 0.747; p&gt;0.05) and the significant difference in the achievements of men from women (men, x±m=1.835±0.19; women, x±m = 1.67±0.15; t= 3.75, p&lt;0.05) at the final starts of the XXII World Aquatics Championships in 2025, were clarified. Thus, the largest difference in average swimming speed was recorded in freestyle for short and medium distances – 0.22 m/s, butterfly – 0.20 m/s, relay swimming – 0.196 m/s, backstroke – 0.196 m/s, breaststroke – 0.18 m/s, medley swimming – 0.145 m/s, marathon – 0.106 m/s, and the smallest in stayer swimming distances – 0.11 m/s and combined relays – 0.12 m/s. The greatest difference in the results of men from women is manifested in the sprint distances of 50 m by various means - 0.245 m/s, then in swimming distances of 100 m - 0.197 m/s, then in relay swimming - 0.166 m/s, in swimming distances of 200 m - 0.162 m/s. Although the smallest difference in the achievements of men from women concerns overcoming the freestyle swimming of the stayer - 0.117 m/s, long distances of marathon swimming and mixed relay 4×1500 m - 0.095 m/s, and combined freestyle relays and combined relays - 0.166 m/s. Thus, the total difference in the average swimming speed of men from women at all distances of sports and marathon swimming is more than - 0.16 m/s.</jats:p>
