Abstract

Multi-camera productions are ubiquitous in contemporary television and Internet broadcasts. There is no Polish literature which deals comprehensively with this subject. This publication fills this gap. It is intended for students at film schools, television employees who want to develop their craft, and a huge group of employees of cultural institutions - theatres, operas, ballet theatres, etc. – dealing with video technology. However, for everyone looking at television from a theoretical perspective, the book contains basic information – e.g., about the composition of frames, film sets, and editing – and detailed descriptions of various complex productions using multi-cameras. Rich in photographs and graphic illustrations, it is a compendium of knowledge necessary for anyone involved in multi-camera productions.
