Abstract
The book presents and evaluate the military and political activity of Prince Antoni Paweł Sułkowski in the years 1806-1836. During the Napoleonic era, he had a surprisingly fast career path. In just a few years, starting his service in 1806 as a colonel, he was promoted to the rank of Major General in 1813. At the age of 28, he became the youngest owner of this rank in the history of the Polish Army. He proved his military virtues during the Napoleonic campaigns in Western Pomerania, Spain, Russia and Germany. An attempt was also made to reconstruct his system of values which he followed, as well as the goals and motivations that resulted from them.
