<p>Abstract. In the current context of digital transformation, solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI) help enhance the organization of production processes, minimize waste and defects, reduce equipment downtime, improve product quality control, and yield a range of other benefits associated with increased production efficiency. This article examines the current potential for integrating AI into core and auxiliary production processes. The possibilities for applying AI to the manufacturing of automotive wheels are explored. Based on an analysis of practical experience, conclusions are drawn regarding the challenges and future prospects for implementing AI in manufacturing.
