Abstract
<p>In the context of a deep transformation of the socio-cultural environment and fragmentation of value orientations, the task of moving from a declarative description of youth values to the identification of their stable, behaviorally realizable core is actualized. Existing approaches often fix only normative ideals, ignoring the gap between attitudes and actual practices, which reduces the effectiveness of social design. The purpose of this study is to identify the value core of student youth's resilience, based on the results of an analysis of the degree of interiorization of values among student youth. The methodology of the work is based on the author's four-component empirical model, which evaluates value according to the parameters: "ideal", "significance", "readiness" and "action". The empirical basis was based on data from a mass survey (n = 3864) of students from leading Russian universities. Spearman's correlation analysis was used to identify structural relationships. The criterion for selection to the value core was the high intra-value consistency of all four components and the presence of stable inter-value clusters. It is revealed that the stable core is formed by state-patriotic (patriotism, service to the Fatherland, historical memory) and spiritual and moral values (family, charity, priority of the spiritual), characterized by high internal integration. The values of personal growth and universal norms (rights, justice, health) remain predominantly declarative, demonstrating the gap between ideal and action.Author's English translation of the article published in Russian: Society and Security Insights, 2026, vol. 9, no. 2, pp. 104-121.
