Abstract

<jats:p>This analytical report was prepared within the framework of the Applied Research and Development Program of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine 7 «Agrokosmos» Task 07.00.01.06.P «Assessment of the Impact of the Kakhovka HPP Destruction on the Spatial State of Agricultural Resources in the Southern Region of Ukraine Using Satellite Data» (State Registration No. 0124U001545). Satellite-based information sources were used to analyze the spatial and temporal changes in the state of agricultural resources in the southern region of Ukraine resulting from the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP. The scale of irrigation infrastructure loss was determined. A comprehensive analysis of agroclimatic conditions and vegetation status for the period 1982-2025 was conducted. Critical changes were identified in Kherson Oblast, moderate changes in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and relative stability in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. These methodological approaches can be applied within the agricultural adaptation system addressing irrigation loss and climate change. The material is recommended for government authorities, agricultural sector specialists, researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students in environmental and geographical sciences.</jats:p>
