Abstract
<jats:p>The monograph presents a developed and tested methodology for assessment of the impact of armed aggression on the state of black soils (chernozems) and program measures for the accelerated restoration of the fertility and health of these soils in the context of ensuring food security. The results of assessing the impact of armed aggression and military activities on the quality of black soils are outlined. Conceptual foundations of scientific, informational and technological support for accelerated restoration of soil fertility and health for economically efficient and environmentally safe agricultural production and resolution of food security issues have been developed (using the example of the territorial community of the Chuhuiv district of the Kharkiv region as a pilot project for the revitalisation of Ukraine’s soil resources). A pilot project for the first Ukrainian living soil laboratory has been created on the basis of the community under study. The book is intended for specialists of state and local self-government bodies, policy makers, scientists, entrepreneurs, professors and students of higher education.</jats:p>
