Abstract
<jats:p>The article reveals the multifaceted activity of the Ukrainian national polytechnic in the European diaspora in the 1920s – 1960s. This activity was represented in different periods by the Ukrainian Economic Academy (1922–1935, Czechoslovakia), the Ukrainian Technical and Economic Institute of Extramural Education (1932–1945, Czechoslovakia), and the Ukrainian Technical and Economic Institute (1945–1960s, Germany). Many Ukrainian emigrants sought to restore the Ukrainian state, uniting primarily in academic and scientific institutions that trained highly qualified agronomists, foresters, economists, cooperators, and hydraulic engineers. Scientists maintained links with scientists of other countries, exchanged literature with them, participated in various international forums. Due to the scientific achievements made by professors Andrievskyi P.E., Gorbachevskyi I.Ya., Ivanitskyi B.G., Martos B.M., and Tymoshenko V.P., Ukrainian studies centers reached the world level. Their publishing activity is characterized by the preparation and publication of new textbooks and other literature on natural, technical, economic and humanitarian topics. It is intended for students, graduate students, teachers of agricultural educational institutions, humanitarian educational and research structures, students of secondary schools, teachers, economists, historians, as well as everyone interested in the problems of the history of Ukraine, in particular, the history and activities of organizations of the Ukrainian diaspora.</jats:p>
