Cultural transformation of the museum visitor’s role in the context of digital anthropology

<jats:p>The article focuses on the theoretical and methodological conceptualization of digital transformation processes in contemporary museum institutions. The study aims to conceptualize digital changes oriented toward transforming the internal space of the exhibition. The primary content of the paper comprises a philosophical analysis of the digitalization of museum space that moves beyond a narrow technocratic approach. The article compares extroverted and introverted technology implementation strategies and examines the relationship between modern digital interfaces and pre-digital analog practices of audience engagement. The scientific novelty of the study lies in substantiating the subject-driven nature of digitalization and proving the instrumental role of digital media, which should serve as hermeneutic guides rather than self-contained entertainment attractions. The findings demonstrate that effective design of hybrid exhibitions requires a strict balance between technological innovation and educational objectives. The author proposes methodological foundations for developing participatory programs that enable institutions to optimize resources and integrate bodily-motor practices without excessive technological overload.</jats:p>
