Abstract
The study aims to construct a system of female behavior models established in Russian traditional culture. For the first time, the article systematizes female archetypal characters in Russian folk tales, identifying and characterizing six main types: the Warrior Maiden, the Orphan Girl, the Daughter, the Old Woman, Baba Yaga, and the Tsarevna. As a result, the study substantiates the premise that female archetypes in Russian fairy tales function not as isolated images but as an interconnected system where each type is defined through its opposition to another. The key parameters determining the classification of female archetypes are identified: position within the family structure, spatial localization, and the nature of activity.
