Abstract
<jats:p>Since itscommercial development, theuseofmoderne-cigaretteshascontinued togrowamongpeoplewho haveneversmoked, formersmokerswhohaveswitchedtoe-cigarettes,andusersofbothconventional cigarettes ande-cigarettes.Withthisincreaseinusecomesgrowingknowledgeoftheirritant, toxic,and potentiallycarcinogenic effectsonthelungs.Thesubstancesinhaledine-cigarettescontainavarietyofsubstances, includingadditivessuch asvegetableglycerinandpropyleneglycol, aswell as avorings, nicotine, andvitaminEacetate.Whenheated, glycerinandpropyleneglycol formavaporandactascarriersofnicotineand avorings.Thekeyriskfactorforvaping relatedrespiratoryillnessesistheuseofe-cigarettesorsimilarproducts.However,thepathogenesisofsuchillnesses remainsunclear.Manydifferentpathological ndingshavebeenreportedassociatedwithsuchdiseases, including acutelunginjury, diffuse alveolar injury, diffuse alveolar hemorrhage, organi ing pneumonia, acuteeosinophilicpneumonia, lipoidpneumonia, andrespiratorybronchiolitic interstitial lungdisease. Inaddition, it hasbeenmentioned that lipopolysaccharidemaycausevaping-relateddisease. Inthisreview,wesearchedscienti cdatabasessuchas Cyberleninka,RINTSDatabase, ubMed,Cochrane,Lancet inRussianandEnglishfortheperiodfrom2019 to2024.
