Abstract
<jats:p>Text edition is devoted to the analysis of modern Russian literature. Considered its major aspects: the chronological framework of the latest period and the principles of its establishment, key features of contemporary literary process which are substantially distinguishing this period from the previous stages. Analyzed the most significant trends of modern literary process, special attention is paid to post-modern and “new-modern”. The manual justified the concept of “new-modern”. The formation of the called directions is characterized, their ideological and esthetic platform is considered, basic art principles of post-modern and “new-modern” are formulated. Marked trends of modern literary process are revealed on the example of works of certain writers and their most representative texts. The appendix to the publication includes essays on the development of the realistic artistic trend in modern Russian literature. The edition is addressed to the students of humanity faculties and all those who are interested in contemporary Russian literature.</jats:p>
