Abstract
<jats:p>This article analyzes the interrelationship between regional economic development and urbanization processes based on a comprehensive approach. The study deeply studies the main factors influencing the formation of the economic potential of regions - production infrastructure, investment climate, labor resources and the level of innovative activity. Urbanization processes are assessed as an important factor affecting regional economic growth through an increase in population density, expansion of urban infrastructure and development of the service sector. The article also analyzes the positive and negative aspects of urbanization, including environmental problems, social inequality and imbalances in resource use along with increased economic activity. According to the results of the study, for effective management of regional development, it is important to pursue a balanced urbanization policy, develop modern infrastructure and ensure sustainable economic growth.</jats:p>
