Abstract

<jats:p>Diphenylalanine amphiphiles can self-assemble into diverse morphologies. While structural modifications thereof are well studied, little is known on solvent effects that govern the assembly process. Here, diphenylalanine amphiphiles containing Nterminal fatty acids are systematically studied in acetonitrile/water mixtures. These show morphologies ranging from 0D micelles to extended 2D nanosheets.</jats:p>
