Large Language Models as a Tool for Personalizing and Adapting Education in the Development Strategy of a Technical University

<jats:p>This article examines the challenges of transitioning from mass, standardized engineering training to an individualized education model focused on developing interdisciplinary competencies and leadership skills. Based on an analysis of Bauman Moscow State Technical University's strategic documents, the article substantiates the need to apply large language models (LLMs) to implement the principles of flexibility, diversity, and learning through practice. A conceptual model of an intelligent educational environment is proposed that integrates LLM services for building dynamic competency profiles, generating personalized educational trajectories, adaptive content, and intelligent student support. The article demonstrates the role of the proposed model in achieving education quality targets, including increasing the student satisfaction index to 75% and increasing the share of project and teamwork to 70% by 2030</jats:p>
