Abstract
<jats:p>В статье рассматриваются итоги археологических исследований архитектурного отряда Древнерусской археологической экспедиции Государственного Эрмитажа 1999 г. Работы велись в угличском Алексеевском монастыре, снаружи и внутри церкви Успения Богоматери с трапезной 1628 г. постройки, вошедшей в историю архитектуры как Дивная. Раскопками раскрыта каменная дренажная конструкция для отвода лишней воды из колодца в подклете под алтарем церкви, созданная на этапе закладки ее фундамента. Можно утверждать, что храм задуман и осуществлен как храм над источником, существовавшим до начала строительства. Первоначальное посвящение церкви Одигитрии рассмотрено как в контексте событий 1-й трети XVII в., так и в соотнесении с данными об основании монастыря св. Алексием митрополитом Московским в начале 1370-х гг. Сделан вывод о возможности посвящения монастыря при его основании Богоматери Одигитрии и связи этого посвящения с почитанием святыни константинопольского монастыря Одигон и событиями жизненного пути св. Алексия Митрополита.</jats:p> <jats:p>The article discusses the results of archaeological research carried out in 1999 by the architectural detachment of the Ancient Russian Archaeological Expedition of the State Hermitage Museum. The works were carried out in the Uglich Alexeevsky Monastery, outside and inside the Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God with refectory, built in 1628, which entered the history of architecture as ‘‘Divnaya”. The excavations uncovered a stone drainage structure for the removal of excess water from the well in the basement under the altar of the church, created at the stage of laying its foundation. It can be argued that the temple was conceived and realised as a temple over a spring that existed prior to construction. The original dedication of the church of Hodegetria is considered both in the context of the events of the first third of the XVII century, and in correlation with the data on the foundation of the monastery by St. Alexis Metropolitan of Moscow in the early 1370s. The conclusion is made about the possibility of dedicating the monastery at its foundation to the Mother of God Hodegetria and the connection of this dedication with the veneration of the shrine of the Odigon Monastery in Constantinople and the events of the life of St. Alexis the Metropolitan.</jats:p>
