Abstract
<jats:p>Статья посвящена рассмотрению деталей погребального обряда одного из типов православных захоронений – погребению священнослужителя. При исследовании участка некрополя, выявленного на месте сгоревшей Успенской церкви (1774 г.) в Кондопоге, Северной археологической экспедицией ИА РАН в 2024 г. было обнаружено погребение (№ 496), содержавшее останки мужчины старше 60 лет, а также хорошо сохранившиеся детали церковных одежд. Была выполнена портретная графическая реконструкция лица по черепу. На основании архивных материалов по приходу и причту Успенской церкви сформулировано предположение о возможном соотнесении обнаруженных останков с личностью священника последней Успенской церкви (1774 г.) Алексея Иванова.</jats:p> <jats:p>This paper reviews detailed data on the funerary rite of one orthodox burial type, namely, the burial of a churchman. In 2024 the excavations in a section of a cemetery discovered on the site of the Assumption church destroyed by fire (1774) in Kondopoga by the Northern Archaeological Expedition of the Institute of Archaeology, RAS, revealed a grave (No. 496) containing remains of a man aged 60+ and well-preserved parts of clergy vestments. A portrait graphical facial reconstruction of the skull was performed. The analysis of the archival materials on the Assumption church parish and clergy suggests that the discovered human remains can be linked to Aleksei Ivanov who was a churchman of the last Assumption church (1774).</jats:p>
