Примена рециклираног бетона у префабрикованим грађевинским елементима, Application of Recycled Concrete in Prefabricated Construction Elements

<jats:p>The construction sector consumes large amounts of natural resources while generating significant volumes of construction and demolition waste, with concrete rubble being a major fraction. Recycled concrete, primarily through recycled concrete aggregate (RCA), offers a sustainable pathway to reduce the use of virgin aggregates and minimize landfill disposal. This paper reviews the use of recycled concrete in prefabricated elements, focusing on workability, mechanical performance, long-term deformation, and durability, as well as on production measures that ensure consistent quality under factory conditions. With enhanced quality control, recycled aggregate can be reliably used in prefabrication.</jats:p>
