Уређење реке Штире узводно од постојеће регулације, Regulation of the river Štira upstream of the existing regulation

<jats:p>As part of the work, the regulation of the Štira river in the reach upstream of the existing urban regulation in Loznica is considered from the perspective of flood protection and ensuring a stable flow regime. The analysis includes the assessment of natural and spatial characteristics of the catchment area, the determination of design flood discharges using hydrological methods, and a hydraulic analysis of the existing and the considered regulated channel conditions. The study addresses the channel conveyance capacity, the occurrence of overtopping under existing conditions, and the applicability of river training structures aimed at reducing flood risk. Hydraulic computations were performed using a one-dimensional model in the HEC-RAS software, and the obtained results provide the basis for defining the technical solution for river regulation.</jats:p>
