<jats:p>This paper explores the concept of restitution, providing a brief historical overview of the events that preceded it, as well as the legal framework on which it is currently based. It presents examples of geodetic expert analyses conducted in restitution procedures within municipalities where land consolidation has been carried out.. In the latter part of the paper,, the results of the analysis of 250 expert reports from this area are presented.</jats:p>
