Abstract
<jats:p>The article defines and systematizes the differences between the communication policy of the Moscow transport complex in December 2015 and December 2025. To analyze 122 publications on the official website of the Mayor of Moscow mos.ru, the author uses lexico-semantic and pragmatic approaches, in which two types of messages are distinguished: descriptive and installation ones. Descriptive sentences tell the facts, while in-stallation sentences indicate the context giving the value to descriptive ones. It is noted that the modern com-munication of the Moscow government’s transport complex is based on an increased number of installation messages, some of which are repeated. In addition, the increased scale of information policy was revealed: in December 2025, three times more releases were issued than in December 2015. The expansion of the instal-lation messages context was also noted: if in 2015, they dealt directly with the subject of the release, then in 2025, they began to include the general topic of the expediency operated by the Moscow government’s policy in the transport sector.</jats:p>
