Abstract
The present article examines the dynamics of Russia’s perceptions concerning global security governance, as revealed through relevant provisions of the Russian Federation’s Foreign Policy Concepts adopted between 2000 and 2023. It is identified that Russia confronts global security challenges through mechanisms such as multilateral engagement, arms control (including nuclear arms), the expansion of global cooperation, and joint state efforts to refine international legislation. The modern stance of the Russian Federation on global security issues underscores its indivisibility, adherence to the principles of the UN Charter, conflict resolution via multi-lateral interaction and peaceful negotiations, and the establishment of a multipolar system based on mutual respect and equality for the collective provision of global security. This research offers a new perspective for comprehending Russia’s participation in global security governance.
