Constraints in ascertaining the strength of Endemic plant taxa in India: Challenges and solution

<jats:p>As of today endemism is being important criteria in every aspects of conservation but there exist many challenges and misconception while determining the endemism of a particular species. There is no such database in India which accesses the worldwide distribution of a species and thereby the endemic status can be updated. In this paper we would like to suggest some solutions to the existing problem which can be useful in fine-tuning the endemic species number and thereby making better polices regarding the conservation of species.</jats:p>
