Abstract
<jats:p>The book “Law Through the Ages: History, Values, State. Liber Amicorum Professor Jānis Lazdiņš” is a collection of scholarly articles dedicated to marking the 60th anniversary of the renowned Latvian legal scholar, Professor Jānis Lazdiņš. His field of research is broad, encompassing legal history, legal philosophy, and tax law. Accordingly, the authors – friends, colleagues, and former students of the Professor – address all these areas in the volume, reflecting the impact of Professor and his research on the development of Latvian legal history, legal philosophy, and tax law. The book consists of 16 scholarly articles, structured into three sections: history, values, and state.</jats:p>
