Abstract
<ns5:p> GWL Voices’ new Spotlight report presents new figures spanning over <ns5:bold>30 years of data</ns5:bold> on leadership and participation at <ns5:bold>seven key multilateral climate and environmental institutions,</ns5:bold> including the three Rio Conventions. By also examining <ns5:bold>first-hand testimonies</ns5:bold> of climate leaders and <ns5:bold>institutional policies</ns5:bold> across these institutions, the new report offers a unique analysis that contextualises global debates around gender equality and climate change. It shows the full extent to which women remain underrepresented in the highest levels of climate and environmental leadership. </ns5:p>
