Abstract
<title>Abstract</title> <p>This study defines a qualification architecture for a pulsed deuterium-deuterium FRC. The 20 T selected external-field target applies to a metre-class power reference; CAD v4 is a container-constrained qualification article, and the 10 kJ circuit twin is a low-field bench. The 19 T program operating floor is a selected design specification obtained by rounding the 18.80 T crossing of a stipulated n_Dτ_E = 10²⁰ s/m³ reference under one empirical scaling. The low-xₛ relation is evaluated at xₛ = 0.4 inside its published xₛ domain but extrapolated from sub-keV data to 100 keV. At the 20 T selected external-field target and β = 1, that conditioned metre-class comparison gives n_Dτ_E = 1.203 × 10²⁰ s/m³. A uniform 0.650 m-radius, 2.40 m-long bore contains 507 MJ at that field, establishing the stored-energy scale that the recovery system must cycle.
