Abstract
<title>Abstract</title> <p>Climate change has been an increasing problem in this decade; it has severely impacted the way nature functions and has increased temperature relentlessly. The main cause of this effect is due to individuals' daily activities that emit a large amount of carbon. The few major factors of carbon emissions are transportation emissions, electricity usage (mainly air conditioner emissions), and plastic waste production. The students and youth, being the generation to bring about change, have unprecedented responsibility when it comes to being part of a transformation. A quantitative survey was conducted using Google Forms as the source of the questionnaire, reaching 63 responses from students from various educational backgrounds. The students were to be assessed on 3 major variables, the types of transportation, distance, and air conditioner usage throughout the day. These variables will then be inserted into a Python program that will calculate the average carbon emissions from these variables and how each variable impacted the percentages of carbon emissions.</p>
