Abstract

Abstract

The Indian jewellery industry naturally produces huge amounts of data. Prices shift constantly, product ranges are enormous, cultural seasons drive demand, and operations span multiple branches. Yet most companies still rely on scattered spreadsheets and static reports. These tools were never designed for the kind of complex intelligence that modern businesses need. This study addresses that problem directly. We designed and tested an AI-powered analytics dashboard for Emerald Jewel Industry India Ltd, one of Asia's largest gold jewellery manufacturers. The dashboard runs on Microsoft Power BI. We used real sales data from 2023 to 2025 and a structured survey of 120 staff members. Our analysis relied on standard statistical methods in IBM SPSS: reliability testing (Cronbach's alpha = .957), Pearson correlation (r = .779 to .842, all p < .01), multiple linear regression (R² = .690, F = 44.631, p < .001), and one-way ANOVA (F(3,116) = 4.821, p = .003). The results speak clearly. Gold jewellery makes up 40.2% of units sold. Branches in Tamil Nadu bring in over half of all revenue at 52.0%. Festival seasons create sharp demand spikes, with November alone accounting for 15.3% of the yearly volume. And 67.5% of staff rated the dashboard as useful or highly useful. That is strong backing from the people who use it every day. Together, these findings show that an AI analytics dashboard is more than a technical upgrade for a jewellery business. It is a strategic move forward.
