Abstract

Abstract

Objective This study aimed to describe the profile and care pathway of men who have sex with men (MSM) receiving PrEP in Togo, in 2025. Results A total of 2,433 MSM with a median age (IQR) of 23.0 years (20.0–26.0) were included. Of the 2,433 participants who initiated PrEP, only 15.5% returned for a follow-up visit. In multivariate analysis, MSM who started PrEP on a continuous regimen were more likely to attend a follow-up visit compared to those on an intermittent regimen (aOR = 1.43 [95% CI = 1.14–1.79]). Also, MSM who initiated PrEP in Lomé were more likely to attend a follow-up visit compared to those who initiated PrEP in Aného (aOR = 2.61 [95% CI : 1.76–4.05])
