Abstract
<title>Abstract</title> <p> <bold>Aim</bold> The aim of this study was to establish a training content index system for instructors at blood purification specialist nurses training base. <bold>Background</bold> The development of blood purification has created urgent demand for specialized care for blood purification, and blood purification specialist nurses have taken on more specialized roles. Due to differences in blood purification specialist nurses training bases’ educational facilities, teaching staff, quality and training content, the training quality of blood purification specialist nurses varies greatly across different regions. The Chinese Nursing Association proposed strengthening the homogenized training management for specialized nurses and recommended that the training instructors should receive training first. However, there is currently no prior study constructing the index of training content system for instructors at a blood purification specialist nurses training base. <bold>Methods</bold> We used literature reviews to establish a draft index system. Subsequently, a two round Delphi survey was utilized to consult opinions from 19 experts about the training content index system for instructors at a blood purification specialist nurses training base and provide qualitative comments on their ratings. The consensus was predefined as a mean important score of 4.0 or above and a coefficient of variation is not above 0.25 among the participants. <bold>Results</bold> The final training content indexes for instructors at a blood purification specialist nurses training base included 6 first-level indexes (Professional theoretical knowledge of blood purification, Professional practice skills in blood purification, Educational and teaching competence, Nursing research and innovation ability, Nursing management ability of blood purification and Personal trait qualities), 23 second-level indexes, and 97 third-level indexes. The effective response rates of the two expert consultation rounds were 90.48% and 100% respectively. The expert authority coefficients were 0.810 and 0.874 in the first and second rounds of consultation, respectively. In the second round of consultation, the first, second and third indexes of Kendall's coefficient of concordance were 0.302, 0.166, and 0.179, respectively ( <italic>P</italic> < 0.001). <bold>Conclusion</bold> This study established a training content index system for instructors at a blood purification specialist nurses training base, comprising 6 first-level indexes, 23 second-level indexes, and 97 third-level indexes. This system serves as a foundational tool for training content for instructors at a blood purification specialist nurses training base and provides a reference for designing targeted training programs. </p>
