Mechanism of Calculation of the Service Life of the First Stage Suspension Springs of the Electric Train “Lastochka” Bogie

<jats:p>The article presents the mechanism of calculation of the service life of the first stage of the spring-suspension of the electric train “Lastochka”. The estimated service life of the set of springs is determined on the results of the full-scale tests. Conclusions on the necessity and advantages of the determination of the service life of non-basic parts of a rolling-stock have been made.</jats:p>
