THE LEGAL NATURE OF THE SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT INSTITUTION IN BANKRUPTCY: DEFINING THE ESSENCE IN THE CONTEXT OF MODERN RUSSIAN LEGAL REALITY

<jats:p>The article examines the issue of defining the essence of the settlement agreement institution as an integral part of domestic bankruptcy laws in the context of the ambiguous approach to the institution of insolvency in the Russian community. Its role and significance are analyzed taking into account the modern legal approach to dispute resolution. The settlement agreement is examined as an institution that carries a dual nature, and as an independent stage of bankruptcy.</jats:p>
