Legal Values and Their Role in the Chinese Legal System

<jats:p>The article is devoted to the problem of studying legal values in the Chinese legal system. The analysis of various concepts for understanding the foundations of development and the influence of factors in the formation of value dimensions of the Chinese legal system is carried out. When analyzing the topic and writing the article, general scientific methods of cognition (historical and legal method, comparative legal method, dialectical method, analysis and synthesis, deduction and induction) were used, which allowed us to study the problems of China’s legal space in the value dimension. The author concludes that legal values are the “foundation” for the development of the rule of law and civil society in China’s legal system, and also contribute to the development of the legal space and cooperation between China and Russia.</jats:p>
