Transformation of the Forms and Methods of Migration Control in the Russian Federation

<jats:p>The article discusses issues related to the migration control system in general, the transformation of forms and methods of migration control at the current stage, and the combination of traditional tools with advanced digital technologies. Attention is paid to the purpose and forms of migration control. The following forms are highlighted: a digital migrant profile, an automated biometric identification system, monitoring the migrant’s location through a special mobile application, and the creation of interdepartmental information systems and registers.</jats:p>
