Priority Areas of Public Law Regulation in the Field of Entrepreneurship Support

<jats:p>The subject of research is the public-legal regulation of entrepreneurial activity and its priority areas in terms of goals and objectives of the socio-economic development of the state. The role of strategic planning documents in the public legal regulation of entrepreneurial activity is emphasized. A view of state support for entrepreneurship through the prism of strategic goals of socio-economic development made it possible to formulate the conclusion that state support should be focused primarily on business entities capable of scaling and setting themselves such a task within the framework of business projects. The scaling of small and medium-sized businesses, expressed in an increase in the number of “enlargements” of small businesses to the average level, and the average to the large level, has been proposed to be legislated as one of the principles of supporting small and medium-sized businesses at the legislative level. The author’s position was formulated on the need to harmonize the antimonopoly policy of the state with the task of growing SMEs and increasing the share of medium and large enterprises to a level sufficient to achieve strategic goals of socio-economic development.</jats:p>
