Features and Principles of Legal Regulation of the Digitalization of Russian Society in Ensuring Public Security

<jats:p>The paper identifies some signs and principles of digitalization of public administration, touches upon the context of ensuring public safety. Currently, a regulatory and legal system for regulating relations in the field of digitalization is beginning to take shape in Russia. The most important step in this process is the reflection of relations in the field of digitalization in the Constitution of the Russian Federation. An analysis of the specialized literature has shown that not only the concept, but also the signs of digitalization cause a lot of controversy and are poorly understood, for example, digitalization involves reducing the time required to provide services, reducing the efforts required to perform certain tasks.</jats:p>
