Legal Consciousness and Its Role in the Development of Mediation

<jats:p>A conscientious attitude toward fulfilling one's obligations is ideal for society as a whole and for each individual. At the same time, the demand for judicial protection indicates a lack of desire to act in this manner on the part of at least one of the parties. This situation undermines the popularity of non-procedural procedures, as the latter are based on mutual expression of will and respect. Given this circumstance, it seems necessary to determine the relationship and correlation between the level of legal awareness and the prospects for the development of mediation as a procedure aimed at harmonizing relationships.</jats:p>
