Proportionality in the Reimbursement of Expenses for Legal Representation Services

<jats:p>The article examines the issue of proportionality in the reimbursement of legal representation expenses in civil proceedings. It analyzes legal provisions, clarifications of the highest courts, and scholarly approaches to determining the reasonable limits of litigation costs. The article identifies the main criteria for assessing proportionality and addresses the issues of judicial discretion and the absence of a uniform calculation methodology. The need to form a unified approach to cost assessment, based on a combination of objective criteria and the mandatory reasoning of a judicial decision, is substantiated.</jats:p>
