<jats:p>This article examines the concept and application of tax reconstruction in law enforcement practice. It examines the importance of determining a taxpayer’s actual tax liabilities when applying tax schemes. It also identifies the conditions for applying tax reconstruction based on an analysis of tax authority practice and judicial practice. It also proposes areas for improving tax legislation.</jats:p>
